| So... What Does MVP Stand for? Simply stated, it started as Music,Video, Production. Although most of the time I refer to it as My Virtual Playground. MVP Studios Started with a Tascam 4 track cassette deck, a couple of signal processors and a cd burner in the spare bedroom. After recording my first two albums and mixing to my satisfaction, I took the mixes to a larger pro studio to be mastered. The comment was, "You did all this on a what?"! After a few solo concerts and decent cd sales, I graduated to digital with a Korg DX-16 DAW. Word had spread that I had a talent for mixes and I was soon recording projects for others. (Demos, Student Auditions, Church choirs, community groups etc.) In 2005 the owners of the local pro studio were relocating and offered me a buy out of the studio. After careful consideration of finances and equipment, I decided to open my own. MVP is now a full project studio utilizing a PRO-TOOLS LE System. MVP Studios Opened officially in January of 2006. |
